The 2021-2022 Salem Elks Scholarship application submission date has passed.

 

Since 1931 the Elks National Foundation has supported what has become one of the largest private scholarship programs in the nation. Today the Elks National Foundation Scholarship Program awards more than $3 million per year. at the Salem Elks Lodge, thanks to the generosity of past and current members we are able to offer nearly $10,000 a year to local lodge scholarship winners. Students applying for the Most Valuable Student Scholarship must meet the following eligbility requirements:

  • Current high school seniors, or the equivalent are eligible to apply.

  • Applicants do not need to be related to a member of the Elks.

  • High school graduates are not eligible to apply.

  • Applicants must be citizens of the United States on the date their applications are submitted; permanent legal resident status does not qualify.
